Welcome to Night Fire Aviary, we are a small home based aviary.
Aarin has been working with birds since a teenager, starting off with one Cockatiel named Pretty Bird. He was what fully started the love and passion for birds.
Later on in Aarin's life after having two littles she wanted to then follow her love of birds to a new level. She started off with a pair of zebra finches. With that her love of gentics paired with her love of birds started a blossoming love.
She worked with a few different types of finches including zebra finches, societies, cordon bleu to name a few. But something was missing.... that hooked bill.
Her real passion was with the larger birds. Which has brought us to present day with a wonderful mix of hookbills.

Depending on the situation I may have used cages for sale.
I also DNA any chick that is not easily sexed. The DNA is included in the purchase price.
If you require DNA testing on a bird not coming from my aviary I can provide that at a cost. I do not upcharge for this service.
I also provide wing and nail clipping. IF needed I can also trim overgrown beaks.

Shipping within Alberta to either Edmonton or Calgary will be with North Peace Air. They provide outstanding care for the birds and over half of the cost.

Shipping outside Alberta will either be with Air Canada or WestJet.
​
Shipping is not included in the purchase price of the bird. It is ontop of any price of the bird.

Bird safe crates are needed to ship and will be added into the price.

A non refundable deposit is required to hold a chick. If something happens beyond either of our control the deposit will be refunded. However if you change your mind or now is not the right time you loose the deposit. However if you want to transfer the deposit to a later clutch that is fully acceptable.

If your baby came from me I stand by my birds for the life time. If you find you can no longer care or your home situation changes I can:
a) bring the bird back into my care
b) help you find a suitable home
